Re:Room publishes cost guides, material comparisons and room-by-room advice for people planning interiors in Delhi NCR. A lot of that writing carries numbers, and numbers invite trust. This page sets out exactly what our published figures are, what they are not, and how to tell us when we have one wrong.
Every price, range and per-square-foot rate in our articles is a planning range. It is there to help you sanity-check a quote, set a budget before you speak to anyone, and understand which specification decisions actually move the number. It reflects the Delhi NCR market at the time of writing, and articles that lean heavily on pricing state the month that pricing reflects.
A published range is not a quote, and nothing on this blog binds Re:Room to a price. Rates move with material costs, hardware brands, site conditions, floor level, building access and timing. Two apparently identical 3BHKs can land 40 percent apart on entirely legitimate grounds.
The only number that ever binds us is the itemised Bill of Quantities signed before work begins. That figure is fixed, it is what you pay at handover, and it does not get revised mid-project. Our published rates — ₹300 per sq ft for design-only work, turnkey execution from ₹4,500 per sq ft — are entry points into that BOQ, not substitutes for it.
Where an article cites a study, a survey or an institution, we link the source so you can read the original and check that we have represented it accurately. If a claim has no link, treat it as our own professional judgement from 14 years of practice rather than as research — and hold it to a lower standard accordingly.
Articles here are published under the Re:Room name rather than an individual byline, and Re:Room is accountable for them as a studio. Our design practice, its principal and our completed work are described on the about page; our commitments on pricing, warranty and project management are set out in the FAQ.
If you find a figure that is out of date, a claim that does not hold, or a source we have misread, write to info@reroom.in with the page and the problem. We would rather correct a number than defend it. Corrections are made to the article itself, and the page’s modified date is updated when we make one.
No article can price your specific flat. If you want an actual figure, a consultation is free, and it ends with a scope and an itemised BOQ rather than a range.
