Re:Room is the natural evolution of four decades of construction excellence. Our parent group — Rajender Constructions and Kuber Constructions, both registered Class A government contractors — has been building at the highest scale since 1981: government infrastructure, diplomatic embassies on Shanti Path, and the private residences of India's most prominent industrial families.

We founded Re:Room in 2012 from a simple observation — Indian homes deserve interiors that honour our culture, climate, and lifestyle while embracing modern design sensibilities. Where most interior studios come to a project from the design side alone, we bring a builder's soul: we understand structure, materials, and execution from the ground up. That depth shows in every project we deliver.

Today, we offer Pan India turnkey solutions — from concept to keys — and worldwide design consultancy with detailed technical specifications. Whether it's a 2BHK in Gurugram or a landmark villa in South Delhi, the same rigour and transparency that built embassies applies to every room we touch.

Dehansh Rathi

Principal Designer & Director

Dehansh Rathi leads design at Re:Room with a philosophy shaped by two worlds — the rigour of construction that he grew up around, and a deep sensitivity to how people actually inhabit the spaces they call home.

Growing up in a family that has built some of India's most demanding institutional and residential projects — from government infrastructure to private estates for leading industrial families — Dehansh brings an unusually grounded perspective to interior design. Where others see aesthetics, he sees structure. Where others see decoration, he sees how a room is lived in at 6 am, at noon, and at midnight.

At Re:Room, Dehansh oversees every project from brief to handover — personally involved in material selection, spatial planning, and client communication. His conviction: a well-designed home should feel effortless to live in, not like it belongs in a magazine.

Rajender Constructions — Founded

The flagship civil contracting entity of the group is established. Registered as a Class A government contractor, it begins building large-scale institutional and civic projects across India.

1982

Kuber Constructions — Founded

Sister firm established to handle parallel government mandates. Together, the two entities begin building the track record that would define the group — over 100 contracts executed over four decades.

1980s

Kingsway Camp, Delhi — ₹500 Cr. Tender

One of the most significant government contracts of the era. A five-year engagement delivering a large-scale institutional campus — a testament to the group's capacity for complex, sustained execution.

1990s

Three Embassies — Shanti Path, New Delhi

Construction of three diplomatic embassy buildings on New Delhi's prestigious diplomatic enclave. A mandate requiring the highest standards of structural integrity, discretion, and security-grade construction.

1990s

Pan-India Infrastructure

Government school programmes, Income Tax Building (Rohtak), flyovers and road infrastructure — the group builds across civic, educational, and civil engineering categories at national scale.

2000+

Strategic Pivot — Premium Private Sector

A deliberate shift from government contracting to high-value private mandates. The group begins exclusively serving India's foremost industrial families — Birla, Jindal, Burman (Dabur) and 15+ others — bringing Class A execution standards to bespoke residential construction.

Re:Room — Founded

The group's consumer-facing interior design brand is launched. Re:Room brings four decades of construction expertise to the spaces people actually live in — a design studio with a true builder's soul.
